- Distributed Leadership versus Shared Leadership – exploring the origins and key concepts of the two forms of leadership
This assessment aims to enable students to examine and critically analyze one aspect of leadership theory in-depth, to understand what makes up scholarly research on the topic, and to see how knowledge is built gradually. The literature review must be based on scholarly peer-reviewed literature on the selected topic and each student is required to have a minimum of eight (8) peer-reviewed articles included in the review.

Criteria for Literature Review Assessment
- Range and relevance of research undertaken
- Demonstrated understanding of leadership theory, including insights acquired on the topic
- Presentation according to academic conventions of correct referencing, formatting, spelling, and grammar
